For clients

What to Expect

Your first visit should feel clear, calm, and comfortable. Here's everything you need to know.

As a student massage therapist, my role is to support your relaxation and wellbeing with safe, professional care. I always work within my training, communicate clearly, and refer on when something is outside my scope.

Before Your Appointment

  • Booking is easy online via the Cliniko portal. If you prefer, you can call or email to arrange a time.

  • Make sure the space where I will set up is comfortable, clean, and has enough room for a massage table.

  • Avoid heavy meals or alcohol in the hour before your session.

  • If you are unwell or have any new symptoms, please reschedule.

During Your Appointment

  • We'll begin with a brief chat about your goals, health history, and any areas you'd like to focus on.

  • Your comfort is central. You can choose to keep some clothing on, ask for adjustments, or pause the treatment at any time.

  • I will explain what I'm doing and check in regularly. Your feedback guides the session.

  • All towels and linens are clean. I respect your privacy and dignity throughout.

After Your Appointment

  • Drink water and take it easy for the rest of the day if you can.

  • Avoid intense exercise for 12–24 hours after your massage.

  • Light soreness in the 24 hours following your massage is normal, especially if deeper pressure was used.

  • If anything feels unusual, contact me directly or speak with a health professional.

Scope of Practice

  • I work within my training as a student massage therapist, offering relaxation massage only.

  • I do not diagnose conditions, order imaging, or prescribe treatment plans.

  • If your needs are beyond my current scope, I will refer you to a qualified remedial massage therapist, physiotherapist, or other appropriate practitioner.

  • Informed consent is required at every step. You can withdraw consent at any time.

I'm happy to talk through any concerns before you book. No question is too small.
